Chocolate Donuts
INGREDIENTS
Recipe
1/2 cup tigernut flour
1 cup sorghum
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp Apple cider
1 1/4 cup nut milk
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup monk fruit sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup ground flax seed
1/2 cup coconut oil
2 tbsp espresso (freshly made)
Frosting
1 bar of Lily’s Sweets
2 tbsp coconut oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350. Spray donut trays with oil (I use avocado oil).
Combine wet ingredients and flax seeds and let sit for 15 minutes.
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and then add the wet ingredients and stir until fully combined.
Using a large freezer bag, place the batter inside the bag. Cut the tip of one of the corners. Squeeze the batter into the donut tray.
Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
Once cool, melt chocolate in a pan or microwave with coconut oil. Drizzle over donuts and add sprinkles or other topping of your choice!
